As a professional actor, I’ve had my fair share of shoots over the years. I’ve struggled myself over which shots are best, what I needed for which auditions and agents, and what would help propel my career forward.
As a theater and film director, I’ve seen hundreds of pictures side by side. Using them as casting tool, I am always keenly aware of what grabbed my attention, what works, and when the shot I saw matched the talent I was meeting.
I truly understand what a headshot can be at its best, and what it must do for the performing artist.
My strength as a photographer is capturing authentic character in an effortless fashion. Each headshot session is unique, customized to the needs and tastes of each artist. I enjoy adapting to accommodate myriad industry demands, from commercial actors to classical musicians and everything in between. Regardless of location, set-up or style, my ability to connect with the subject delivers shots that work for YOU.
All the world’s a stage… personal image and first impressions are critical regardless of your work or industry. You’re a professional – you need a professional headshot. I also do custom shoots for staffs and groups.
BASIC SHOOT: $400
A standard, basic shoot lasts two to three hours, includes unlimited shots and covers about three looks/changes. After reviewing your pictures (you’ll have a private, shareable web gallery of your shoot), I’ll send three retouched shots: finished, print-ready, high-resolution image files plus web/email versions. Done. Fantastic headshots!
DELUXE SHOOT: $500
Headshots and beyond. Need pics for your comp card? Want some candid, casual photos for your website? Maybe an unconventional set-up or ‘character’ shot? This shoot is perfect for models, comedians, cabaret artists, trainers or anyone interested in personal branding or wanting additional photos. Unlimited looks/changes, multiple locations and six retouched shots.
BUDDY SHOOT: $600 (total)
It’s the buddy system! Shoot in tandem with a friend and you’ll both save $100. All the details are the same as the basic shoot for both of you, although it may take a bit longer. (and may be a bit more fun for some, too)
A make-up artist is not included, expert referrals are available if needed. (at approx. $100–$125/shoot)
On final images, basic retouching is performed to ensure proper light, contrast and color balance, and remove any minor distractions. Further, specialized retouching is also available.
Additional finished, retouched photos available at $35/image.
